Narrative

Quite simply put, narrative is the general term for telling a story.
Narration is important to explain the story and explain whats going on in the film/movie, without narration, in some films the story line would be hard to understand, narration breaks up the story and tells you whats going on.
The three narrative theorios are :-
  • Bianary opposition
  • Eqilibrium theory
  • Characters type
I think eqilibrium would be the most effective sort of narration because it explains whats going to happen in the movie and often leaves off with a cliff hanger, this makes us want to watch the film even more.
A bibliography also comes into narration, it explains the auhor of a book, the year the book was written etc... bibliographys can be useful for things like documentarys, a filmography is pretty similar. It does the same thing except its with a film, the director of the film the year it was made etc...
